Lighted Blimps

Imagine Inflatables Lighted Blimp is a unique design created by our in house technical team.

The Blimp lighting unit is a 110 volt Powered system, so is safe to use in all forms of outdoor events, even in wet raining conditions. The power from normal mains or generator at 220-240 volt is stepped down to 110 volt via a supplied transformer pack, so the power going up the tether line is 110 volt.

The power cable is integrated into one of the nylon tether lines, and comes on its own cable caddy. So it is a simple process to plug the light unit into the mains supply.

The lighting unit itself is made of a carbon fibre stem which prevents heat transfer from the main Halogen light bulb down the stem. The total effect is a 500 watt capacity, enabling the Blimp to fly at heights of 200ft/60m during darkness.

The Lighted Blimp due to CAA regulations will need to be attended at all times while flown at night, incase of the light failing.

Additional light bulbs can be supplied, as from time to time the bulbs do need replacing.

The fitting of the lighting unit is very simple. The lighted wond/rod simply screws into the belly of the blimp and can be removed by unscrewing it from the fitment.

The Lighting unit can be retro fitted to existing Hulls without any additional work being carried out on the standard supplied Blimp Hull.
