Always keen to get the most from their assets Ryanair were determined to squeeze more use from their new service hangar being built by Kier at Stanstead airport. This resulted in a plan to accommodate just the nose or tail of extra aircraft 'poking into' the side of the huge building - thus being able to stable more aircraft than usual at any time! The success of this was dependant on providing a suitable weather-tight seal around the aircraft fusalage while in posistion. Specialist engineering contractor Jewers Doors were commissioned to supply the huge hangar doors and had no hesitation in getting Imagine Inflatables to produce inflatable seals. These were incorporated into specially designed 'holes' in their door sections and from a structured R&D phase through to prototyping a successful result was achieved!

So the next time you're flying 'no frills' just think - Imagine Inflatables has helped keep you in the air,.. for less!!...
