Giant Worm Installation!

Merck GmbH is one of the world’s biggest pharmaceutical manufacturers, and its site in Darmstadt, Germany, is the biggest in that country.

We were asked to bring the 25m worm (previously manufactured for them for the G20 Summit in Geneva last year) to an Open Day they had on 22 September 2018.

The worm is a water-borne parasite that is prevalent in Africa and Merck creates pharmaceutical solutions to combat the disease.

Our operators travelled to site, inflated and supervised the worm for the day in strong winds, then travelled back, so the client could concentrate on their visitors.
