Wanting to make a BIG impression, Nike approached Imagine Inflatables to create a giant inflatable version of their new 'Total 90 Ascente' premiership football. They required a 12 ft diameter version of the new ball to be on the pitch with champions Manchester United prior to their first game of the new season. So, the Imagine design team got to work with the flat art-work provided and top artist Kristie was soon creating a masterpiece!.. The complex and detailed design provided a significant challenge - but typical of those which Imagine relish and rise to!!..
Imagine did not have long to create the giant ball which needed to be completed within a working week, ready for the premiership launch match at the weekend!.. So the art team worked tirelessly to meet the critical deadline!! This was achieved and the large inflatable looked great on-pitch with the players, in front of a crowd of 80'000?!!...
