We recently created an inflatable CT Scanner for the University Hospitals Southampton.
The scanner was to be used as a training tool for doctors and nurses as getting access to a real CT scanner can be very difficult when they are in high demand by patients.
The scanner was 2m high x 2.4m wide and the hole had to be the same size as on a real scanner (around 90cm diameter)
