To ensure their message stood out during the recent pensions marches in London and Birmingham, various unions turned to Imagine for an imaginative solution. Following on from the giant helium filled scissors used in the Summer protests, the NUT required a large transparent cube containing an inflatable 'G clamp' with a £ being squeezed!.. The impressive unit was adorned with various slogans to send their message over pensions.
The large helium filled inflatable certainly drew a lot of attention from journalists and TV crews alike. Lenses were trained on the NUT 'float' along the duration of the march routes in Birmingham and London.
